Hustai Nuruu National Park: proudly present the Prezewalski horse-TAKHI, the only still living wild ancestor of the domestic horse and other wild life. Our Takhi reintroduction project is continuing with good result and first generation of Takhi born in the wild are reproducing them now. In 2008, there are 20 groups of Prezewalski horses and their total number is reached over 230. The quality of the various ecosystems within the park assures an abundant wildlife. Till now 46 mammals, 217bird, 2 amphibian, 3 reptile,15 fish and over 400 insect species have been recorded. Many of these are mentioned in the Red Data Book as globally threathened with extinction such as the Prezewalski wild horse, the Mongolian gazelle, Red deer, Roe deer, wolf, marmot, Lynx and many more.
Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur: (Great White Lake), a fresh water lake, is certainly the highlight of Arkhangai Province. Surrounded by extinct and crater us volcanoes (part of the Tarvagatain Nuruu range), the lake, bird life and mountains are protected within the 73000-hectare Khorgo-Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park. The lake, which was formed by lava, flows from a volcanic eruption many millennia ago. There are wonderful hiking opportunities around the northeastern side of the lake, including to Khorgo Volcano (2968m), about 900m above the lake.

After having breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Bayangobi. The area is surrounded by sand dunes, hills covered with rare bushes and a small forest near a river. Together this presents a unique combination of Mongolian mountains, forests and Gobi-type landscape in one location.

Harhorin
Drive to Tsetserleg. On the way we will stop at the Harhorin city. Visit to Erdene zuu Monastery. The monastery was founded in 1586, by Altai Khaan, Erdene zuu (hundred treasures) was the first Buddhist monastery in Mongolia. It had between 60and 100 temples, about 300 gers inside the walls and, at its peak, up to 1000 monks in residence.

White Lake
Today we will drive to Khorgo volcano-Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur (Great White Lake).The lake was formed by lava flows from a volcanic eruption many millennia ago is excellent for swimming.

Ugii Lake
Drive to Ugii Lake.The lake is wonderful place for birdlife. Cranes and ducks, among other species, migrate to the area around late April.

Drive back to Ulaanbaatar. In the evening we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert. Farewell dinner hosted by our company.
