KHOOMII SINGER RECEIVES AWARD NAMED AFTER SPANISH QUEEN

A Mongolian khoomii singer D.Khosbayar has been awarded with the Prince of World music Award named after the Queen of Spain. He received it on April 25 for his significant contribution to developing folk arts this becoming the 24th top creative artists-laureates of this award.
The khoomii singer took part in Germany's Got Talent (Das Supertalent) and managed to reach its semi-final. "It is not important to win a contest. I think I have propagandized the khoomii on the world scene. That is my big success equal to winning this talent show," Khosbayar said when participating in the show.
The khoomii singer D.Khosbayar who is currently living in Germany has founded a group named "Transmongolia". According to him, a former singer of the "Modern Talking" pop group Dieter Bohlen has promised to cooperate with him in making creative works.
